Manajemen Kesehatan Larva Kerapu Cantang (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus x Epinephelus lanceolatus) di BBRBLPP Gondol

Manajemen kesehatan larva merupakan permasalahan serius yang dihadapi oleh pembenihan kerapu cantang (E. fuscoguttatus x E. lanceolatus) agar tidak terjadi kerugian finansial besar akibat kematian larva. meliputi proses pemeliharaan larva, pengelolaan pakan pengendalian penyakit dan kualitas air. Metode pengambilan data primer dengan cara partisipasi aktif, observasi wawancara langsung. Pengambilan sekunder studi literatur. Larva dipelihara di hatchery untuk mengontrol suhu kondisi Kolam disterilisasi klorin 3-5 ppm pada pagi hari tiosulfat sore hari. Kemudian dibilas ada sisa klorin. mulai umur ke 1 sampai 45. Pemberian saat 2 Nannochloropsis occulata. Rotifer diberikan 2-3 kepadatan 5 individu/ml. Artemia 18 40 Pellet 8-10 ukuran pellet level 1. Ukuran terus bertambah sesuai bukaan mulut hingga panen. Penyakit menyerang yaitu Viral Nervous Necrosis. Ciri-ciri terinfeksi VNN adalah nafsu makan berkurang, pergerakan lemah, mengapung permukaan tergeletak dasar kolam. Bakteri sering Vibrio alginolyticus. alginolyticus dapat ditangani menggunakan obat dari baham alami. Suhu kolam sebesar 28 – 30 oC salinitas 34 35 ppt. ini masih tergolong baik hidup kerapu.
